It all started with this photo.

Wonder Woman, she first appeared in Batman vs. Superman. And in the fight scene, she seems to be more kick ass then Batman and Superman.
So here we are months later, her very own movie with Capt James T. Kirk. I mean Chris Pine.

Movie tells about the origin story of Diana of Themyscira, on how he saved Steve Trevor when his plane crashed lands in the waters of Themyscira. From there, some of the German forces followed him in and was engaged to a fight with the Amazons living on the island.
Believing that the war that’s happening in the world of man was caused by Aries, she went with Steve even if her mother was against it. There she learned a very important lesson.
Fights scenes were superb. It has an anime like fight scenes which they also have done with Batman’s fight scene in Batman vs. Superman.
Most emotional scene was this one.

She was walking through these trenches where she met this girl pleading for help that her village has been under attack and there is no more food and people are being treated badly. Diana wanted to help but Steve told her it’s a lost cause. But he should have known better for Diana seems to do what she thinks is best. She walked up to the battle field with only her shield up protecting her from enemy fire. When Steve and his companies saw how bravely she stood her ground they had the courage to go up and fight and were followed by their fellow soldiers. With the help of Steve and his comrades and the British Army they have successfully liberated the village from the Nazis.
The movie has your typical super hero humor. Actually, it feels more like a marvel movie then a DC. Recently, DCs movie are more dark and grimm. But WW has humor amidst the dark scenery. Chris did his usually smexy kinda goofy self in acting as Steve Trevor.
The movie was well written, and really showed a very strong message in life. Especially if kids watch this movie, they will learn a great lesson of compassion and helping others. That one super hero cannot win a war but if we work together for the greater good then we can win the war. That sometimes sacrifices are needed to defeat the enemy and that in a thousand humans there is always one human that is kind in heart.
One thing I didn’t like about the movie is the boss fight. That scene where Wonder Woman harnessed thunder to defeat Aries was a bit corny for my taste.
Now superhero fans want to know something. If Wonder Woman and Thor engage in a fight. Who would win?
