So here we are. After more than a year wait, finally we have a new episode for Game of Thrones. An HBO series that is based on a book by George RR Martin, which is bound to be successful. You know why? Because it’s about kings and queens, princes and princesses, knights and assassins, witches and sorceresses, spells and lore, dragons and zombies and then there are boobs, lots of lots of booby porn. It has the perfect ingredient because it touches almost all types of genre.
Now then, the Season 7 Episode 1 opened with a very satisfying scene. The death of the Feys, every single Fey is dead, poisoned by no one.

Meanwhile, the White walkers being led by their Night King and their Wight army marched towards the wall. And you will see that the Night King have made the giant wildlings part of his Wight army. You know that last surviving giant wilding that helped Jon break the doors of Winterfell when Ramsey Bolton hid behind it? Well, Wunwun is now within the army of the Night King, which confuses me. How did his body get to the other side of the wall? There is some inconsistency or maybe I just need to watch it again, probably I have seen the wrong giant.
Bran has reached the wall and was welcomed in by the new Lord Commander of the Nights Watch.

At Winterfell, Jon meets the lords of the North to prepare for the battle that is to come with the army of the Night King. After the meeting, Jon received a message from Cersie now Queen that he is to bow down before her. Well, we all know he will not do it.
Back in King’s landing, we see a paranoid psychotic Cersie. She had a floor painted with the map of Westeros. Jamie informed her that winter is here and that with all their enemies around them, right now they look like they are the losing side. But Cersie said she has invited Euron Greyjoy the new king of the Iron Islands. He asked Cersie’s hand in marriage but she didn’t accept it due to the fact that she can’t trust him. So he left saying that he will have a gift for her to gain her trust and will not be back in king’s landing without it.

We got to see the hound and the brotherhood without banners. And there was a scene that the Hound saw the wall and the Night King’s army walking towards it. We don’t actually know if he is now a believer of the flamed god.
We also see Sam in this episode. How he is doing menial chores at Oldtown and his quest to find more information about killing the White Walkers and the Night King. Here he learned that a great amount of Dragonglass is beneath Dragonstone.

And finally, Daenerys Targaryen has landed on Dragonstone. I think the very reason why Jon went to Dragonstone, is to appeal with Daenery’s that they need the dragonglass beneath her castle to fight against the White Walkers.
So far, that is what we know in Game of thrones Season 7. It’s going to be a long week before the next episode. But they really gave us a very good 1st episode. They have shown us updates of the major characters in the show. I don’t know what Euron has in mind for Cersie’s gift; perhaps he is aiming to bring Tyrion to Cersie or maybe will destroy the navy fleet of Daenery’s.
I was a bit disappointed that Arya didn’t ride north to her family. I guess her priority is to kill everyone in her list. So far, no one knows that it was Arya who killed off the Feys. I want to know Jon’s reaction when he finally knows that Arya has gone into a killing spree. I guess knowing him; he will blame himself for not being with her or saving her. I think Sansa will be greatly amused if she finds out that her little sister is now a very good assassin.
I am looking forward to the end of the show. I want to know who will sit on the iron throne, or if there will be any iron throne left to sit upon in the end.
